Seniors Group The Seniors Group of Surveyors is a group of surveyors who have retired or are contemplating retirement. At our quarterly meetings, which are genial and informal, there is a welcome to you to share a little of your time with your contemporaries. With a collective wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm of these young at heart surveyors, we solve various challenges whilst enjoying shared experiences and social activities.
Come and enjoy your retirement time with this Seniors Group. Share your retirement and experiences, stories and success with fellow surveyors who have been part of our profession. No annual fees are required for Seniors Group membership.
The Senior Group of Surveyors are involved in The Pathfinders Project of listing all Surveyors from 1788 and the Survey Monuments Register Project of recording monuments and plaques to past Surveyors or events.
We meet quarterly each year with the February meeting being the Parliamentary Luncheon with your partners and then on the first Tuesday in May and August. The November meeting is held on the first Wednesday to avoid the Melbourne Cup on the Tuesday.
We gather for a buffet luncheon before the meeting at 12 noon at the ground floor of the Crown Hotel at the corner of Goulburn and Elizabeth Streets.
The meeting is then held at 1 pm at the Institution of Surveyors NSW Inc, Head Office, Level 4, 162 Goulburn Street, a just a short walk 250 metres east of Elizabeth Street.
The Seniors Group has no Group geographic boundaries. The emphasis is on fellowship and matters of surveying heritage. Visitors are always welcome, so why not attend a meeting and renew old friendships.
If you do not wish to remain on the Seniors Group postal or email mailing lists please notify the Seniors Group Secretary ISNSW Inc.
Something else worth notingThe Institution of Surveyors New South Wales Inc has membership provisions for retired, non-practising and senior members for which the annual membership is greatly reduced from the full membership fee. If you meet these criteria, why not take advantage of this membership in the Institution. For an additional fee you can subscribe to The Azimuth , the ISNSW Surveyor’s Monthly Magazine. |
